If you’re going to put curtains on your windows, the most important and what you should consider to do is measure the size of them. Whether you’re making your own curtains, or you will send them to do, or perhaps buy, nor the type of curtain, ideally know how measured. For that the first thing to do is decide what kind of curtains are going to get. They may be coming to the floor and are made of cloth, may be blind, it all depends on the decoration of your house, and how practical it is everything you want.

You should also consider how much light you want to block.
Finally, measure from the rod to the point where you want to end the curtain, and side to side using a tape measure. Then multiply the width by two to be able to have curtains that have generous pleats look good. If shalt blinds, you should not do the latter.
